THE MECHANISM

One hinge.
Two useful states.

The head rests on two grippy pads. The hook reaches beneath the desk, placing the bag beneath the supporting head.

A positive stop carries the open-load reaction. Two small magnets retain the unloaded fold.

Head, including ears: 100 × 40 × 56 mm
Opening at a 35 mm desk: 29.6 mm, nominal
Folding range: 0–90°

What the model establishes

The five geometry checks cover the sampled fold, hinge interfaces, nominal access, face insertion and exported solids. They pass for v0.3. The full motion is checked every 0.5°. The exploded offsets are for explanation only.

No monkey prototype has been printed or load-tested. Desk, strap, pad and hardware dimensions remain provisional. The face-recess ledge needs slice review; the H2C project is unsliced. There is no rated holding capacity.
